Position title
Jr Solution Engineer
Description
We are looking for a committed Junior Solution Engineer with hands-on experience in SQL and core data engineering. The ideal candidate should understand Jira-based workflows and be someone who takes ownership of assigned tasks from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/data pipelines
Write efficient and complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
Perform data validation, cleansing, and troubleshooting
Support data warehouse and reporting requirements
Track and manage tasks through Jira
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery
Take end-to-end ownership of assigned data engineering tasks
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in SQL
Good understanding of data engineering fundamentals
Working knowledge of Python for data processing is preferred
Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline concepts
Basic understanding of Jira or similar ticketing tools
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to deadlines
Nice to Have:
- Experience with workflow/orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
- Exposure to cloud platforms
- Experience with data warehousing concepts
